- 2 Dientes Ajos

- 1 Morrón Verde

- 1 Ramita Apio
- 1 Taza Pulpa de Tomate

- 2 Papas
- 1/4 Calabaza o Cabutiá

- Remojar los garbanzos la noche anterior y cambiar el agua un par de veces.
Al otro día enjuagarlos bien y ponerlos a hervir a partir de agua fría, de una a hora y media, hasta que al apretarlos con los dedos notemos están blandos. Se les puede añadir 1 cta. de bicarbonato para acelerar un poco el proceso.
Mientras vamos preparando los demás ingredientes, limpiando y cortando las verduras.
Puerros en rodajas, morrón y zanahorias en cubitos.
Papas y calabaza en cubos del tamaño de un bocado. - Ponemos en una cacerola grande a saltear los ajos junto con los puerros, después de unos 5 minutos agregamos las zanahorias y el morrón. Cuando tomen brillo agregamos los garbanzos, mezclamos y dejamos cocinar unos 5 minutos más.
- Agregamos el cubito de caldo y los condimentos, mezclamos, el apio picadito, mezclamos, y por último la pulpa o salsa de tomate y hojas de laurel.
- Después de un par de minutos cubrimos con agua hirviendo, tapamos y dejamos levante el hervor. Dejar cocinar a fuego bajo unos 10 minutos.
- Agregar las papas, 5 minutos después la calabaza y dejar se cocinen.
Cuando estén blandas está pronto nuestro ensopado. - Servir bien calentito.
